One of the best parts of Contributor Day is that everyone is welcome to participate, whether it’s your first time contributing to WordPress or you’ve been involved in the project for years. The people who make that experience possible are our Table Leads.
Table Leads are experienced contributors who help guide discussions, answer questions, suggest tasks, and create a welcoming environment for everyone at their table. They’re not there to test your knowledge; they’re there to help you get started and contribute with confidence.
What is a Table Lead?
A Table Lead helps participants:
- understand what their contributor team does,
- find beginner-friendly tasks,
- collaborate with other contributors,
- ask questions freely, and
- make meaningful contributions during Contributor Day.
If you’re unsure where to begin, simply choose a table that interests you and introduce yourself. Your Table Lead will help you take the next step.
