Call for Table Leads – WordCamp Philippines 2026 Contributor Day

WordCamp Philippines 2026 is looking for Table Leads to help make Contributor Day a welcoming and productive experience for everyone.

Contributor Day is a dedicated day where people of all skill levels come together to contribute to WordPress. Whether you’re a long-time contributor or attending for the first time, it’s an opportunity to collaborate, learn, and give back to the project that powers over 40% of the web.

What is a Table Lead?

A Table Lead helps guide contributors within a specific WordPress team during Contributor Day. You don’t have to know everything—you simply need enough experience with your team to help participants get started, answer questions, and connect them with the right resources.

As a Table Lead, you’ll help out by doing things like:

• Welcoming new and returning contributors to your table.
• Introducing participants to your specific Make WordPress team.
• Helping attendees set up the basic tools they need.
• Suggesting beginner-friendly tasks and ongoing projects.
• Encouraging collaboration and ensuring everyone feels included.
• Coordinating with the Contributor Day organizers throughout the event.

Who Can Apply?

We’re looking for contributors who:

• Have some experience contributing to a WordPress team.
• Are comfortable helping and mentoring others.
• Enjoy collaborating with people from different backgrounds.
• Can hang out and participate throughout Contributor Day.

If you’ve contributed to teams such as Core, Documentation, Design, Polyglots, Photos, Support, Training, Community, Accessibility, Meta, Themes, Plugins, or any other Make WordPress team, we’d love to hear from you.
