Contributor Day Registration Is Still Open

If you’re attending WordCamp Philippines 2026, this is a friendly reminder to complete your Contributor Day registration.

Contributor Day takes place on August 28, 2026, at the Iloilo Convention Center. Participation is free for all WordCamp Philippines ticket holders, but separate registration is required.

If you haven’t reserved your slot yet, now is a great time to do so while registration remains open.

You don’t need to be a developer to participate. Whether you’re a writer, designer, translator, photographer, support specialist, marketer, event organizer, or simply someone who enjoys using WordPress, there’s a Make WordPress team ready to welcome you.

Throughout the day, you’ll work alongside experienced contributors, learn how the project operates, collaborate on real initiatives, and connect with members of the global WordPress community.

During registration, you’ll be asked to choose the Make WordPress team you’d like to join. If you’re still exploring your interests, don’t worry—Contributor Day is designed to help you discover where your skills can make the biggest impact.

Don’t Miss the Open-Source Library

Contributor Day will also feature the Open-Source Library, making its first appearance at WordCamp Philippines.

The Open-Source Library offers one-on-one and small-group conversations with contributors and community members who will share their experiences in open source. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, hear personal stories, explore different contribution paths, and learn from people who have helped shape the WordPress project.

Whether you’re new to WordPress or have been part of the community for years, the Open-Source Library is a great place to connect and be inspired.

Lunch Packs and Event Swags

While Contributor Day registration is still open, free lunch packs and exclusive event swags are guaranteed only for the first 300 registered participants.

Participants who register after the first 300 may still join Contributor Day, subject to venue capacity, but lunch packs and swags will only be be available while supplies last.
