Contributor Day brings together people from different backgrounds, skill levels, and interests to contribute to the WordPress project. You don’t need to be a developer or a coding wizard to contribute. Whether you are a writer, designer, translator, photographer, support specialist, or simply an enthusiastic WordPress user, there is a place for you. This is your chance to learn, collaborate, and connect with the wider WordPress community.
During registration, you will be asked to choose the Make WordPress team or teams you are interested in joining. You do not need to have everything figured out yet. The registration helps us prepare the space, team assignments, and support needed to make the day more organized and welcoming for everyone.
Don’t Miss the Open-Source Library
This year, Contributor Day will also feature the Open-Source Library for the first time at WordCamp Philippines.
The Open-Source Library is a space for meaningful one-on-one or small-group conversations with contributors and community members who will share their real experiences in open source. It is a great opportunity to ask questions, hear personal stories, learn from someone else’s journey, and discover new perspectives beyond the usual contribution tasks.
If you are new to WordPress, unsure where to start, or simply curious about the people behind open source, the Open-Source Library is something worth exploring during Contributor Day.
Important Note About Lunch Packs and Swags
Contributor Day registration will remain open while slots are available, but lunch packs and swags are guaranteed for the first 300 registered participants only.
Participants who register after the first 300 slots may still join Contributor Day if space allows, but they may not receive a lunch pack or swag. We encourage you to register early so we can include you in our preparations.
