We understand that plans may change, and this Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the terms governing ticket cancellations, refunds, transfers, and event changes. Our goal is to provide a fair and transparent policy while complying with applicable Philippine laws.

Cancellation Policy

Ticket Cancellations

All ticket sales are final. Except as expressly provided in this policy or as required by applicable Philippine law, tickets purchased for WordCamp Philippines 2026 are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

Refund Policy

General Refund Policy

Except as required by applicable Philippine law, tickets purchased through the official WordCamp Philippines 2026 website are generally non-refundable.

Tickets purchased through unauthorized third-party sellers or resale platforms are not eligible for refunds from WordCamp Philippines 2026. Any refund requests must be directed to the original seller.

Partial Attendance or No-Show

No refunds will be issued if you attend only part of the event or are unable to attend after purchasing a ticket.

Duplicate or Accidental Purchases

Duplicate or accidental ticket purchases may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the organizers. Requests must be submitted promptly, and the ticket must not have been transferred or used.

Ticket Transfers

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person in accordance with our Ticket Transfer Policy:

Event Postponement or Cancellation

If WordCamp Philippines 2026 is postponed due to circumstances beyond the organizers’ reasonable control—including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, government actions, or other force majeure events—registrations may be honored for the rescheduled event. Any available options, including refunds where applicable, will be communicated based on the circumstances and applicable Philippine law.

If the event is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled, the organizers will communicate the available options, which may include refunds where appropriate or as required by applicable Philippine law.

The organizers are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, visa, or other incidental expenses incurred in connection with attending the event.
