Ted Hyacinth T. Aspera is a technology and innovation leader in the Philippines with over 3 years of experience in design thinking, artificial intelligence, systems thinking, technology and business development, and startup innovation. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from WVSU Main Campus.
She previously worked as a web developer, co-founded a startup, and later served as an enabler at the Unified Movement in Western Visayas to Accelerate Startups and Spin-offs Development (UMWAD). She serves as Technology Business Incubation Manager at West Visayas State University, supporting pre-seed to early-stage startups in healthcare, green technology, and emerging innovations. She is also an Artificial Intelligence (AI) trainer at the ADVANCED Institute of Technology, delivering AI, automation, and applied technology programs for professionals and organizations.
An incoming Iloilo Hub Vice Curator of the Global Shapers Community (an initiative of the World Economic Forum), she leads the Tech for All initiative, advancing digital inclusion and technology education across Panay, reaching over 11,000 individuals. She is the Founder of Future Women Tech Foundry (FWTF), a program that equips women with design thinking and generative AI skills to turn ideas into MVPs. She serves as Iloilo Chapter President of Developers Connect (DEVCON) Philippines, leading programs that empower youth, women, and professionals in AI, blockchain, game development, robotics etc. She is a member and indie researcher of the AIxDESIGN community, strengthening her personal pursuits in human-centered, ethical, and contextualized artificial intelligence systems.
Through her work, she has co-created programs and built partnerships with international tech and innovation organizations across Southeast Asia shaping the future of work.
