Hello world!
Welcome to the official blog of WordCamp Philippines.
A group of WordPress enthusiasts, developers, advocates and users are embarking on this project to bring WordCamp to the Philippines for the first time. The core of this group successfully organized the 1st Mindanao Bloggers Summit, which was held in Davao City last 27 October 2007. This time, they are targeting a more nationwide scope, but for more focused content.
WordPress, the most highly-regarded and arguably the best blogging platform in the world, certainly has a large user base in the Philippines. WordCamp is our venue for sharing, networking and learning more about WordPress, just like it is in many parts of the globe.
Watch out for further announcements regarding WordCamp Philippines 2008! Your input, comments, suggestions are most welcome!

Malapit… sa lahat! Hahaha. =P
Seriously, though, I hope it’s in Luzon. >_< I’d desperately want to attend this, but if it’s in Davao or somewhere far, baka malabo.
Goodluck po sa endeavors! =P

Salamat, JM. Rest assured we have all contingencies in mind. We’d like to bring WordCamp to as broad an audience as possible.

@Tiara — Sorry, girl. It would be great to hold it in our beautiful city, but then it would be logistically difficult for most of the Camp’s target participants to attend if it were here.
