Heck, we can even argue that its most popular services&#8211;many of whom have sponsored this very event itself&#8211;became popular precisely because they&#8217;re being used by the local mom-and-pop shop as much as the multinational company next door!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s why we&#8217;re happy to announce that, for this particular iteration of WordCamp Philippines, we&#8217;re keeping that do-it-your-way ethos alive by choosing two local businesses based in this year&#8217;s host city, Iloilo, as our Local Partners!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the context of this year&#8217;s WordCamp PH, a Local Partner is a small-to-medium business that is deeply integrated into the functions of the communities they serve.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each of these businesses, as you&#8217;ll see below, serve unique purposes within their respective communities. Read on to know what makes them very special to the people they are serving!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-3a88641f wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Book Latt\u00e8 Library &amp; Art Space<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-base-2-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-base-2-background-color has-background thick-line is-style-default\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While this cafe has been in operation for around 15 years and more, it was only during the COVID-19 pandemic where the space has been known by locals as a gathering spot for the creatives and those who just feel that creative mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While it boasts a \u201clibrary cafe\u201d, Book Latt\u00e8 also hosts book clubs (and even book swaps!), art exhibits, and community meetups with various types of organizations ranging from the tech, startups, creatives, and nonprofit communities. In other words, if you have an idea brewing (pun intended) in your head, then you&#8217;re welcome here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Book Latt\u00e8 is graciously giving exclusive discount vouchers of 10% off&nbsp; for WordCamp attendees. Kahimuot Brew , in particular, happens to be one of those shops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just this year, the new owners have managed to revive the brand by incorporating \u201cupscale\u201d coffee products meant to be experienced by regular people just going through their everyday errands.
