Additional Opportunities

Lightning Session – P10,000

In the morning before the Keynote and in the afternoon before we proceed with the Plenary, we’ll run Lightning Round Sessions of 5 minute talks.

Lunch Sponsor – P50,000 or in kind with category exclusivity

We will be serving lunch to our participants, organizers, and volunteers. Sponsorship of lunch is equivalent to a Bronze Sponsorship.

Snacks Sponsor – P25,000 or in kind

We will be serving snacks and free flowing coffee and water for our participants, organizers, and volunteers for the morning and for the afternoon. Sponsorship of snacks is equivalent to a Small Business Sponsorship.

WiFi Access – In kind

We need four access points for the event. This sponsorship can be considered as partial payment in kind deductible from the sponsorship package chosen by the sponsor.

Shirt Sponsor – P50,000 or in kind with category exclusivity

We will be distributing shirts to our participants. The logo, name, and URL of the shirt sponsor will be printed at the upper back portion of the shirts.

Media Sponsor – In Kind

WordCamp Philippines 2010 and Avatar Media will need coverage before, during, and after the event. Coverage should be done in collaboration with the Marketing Team of the event. This should be equivalent to a Small Business or Bronze Sponsorship depending on the coverage.

Speakers & Volunteers Dinner – P25,000 or in kind

The night right after WordCamp, you may host or sponsor a dinner for the Organizers, Speakers, Volunteers and other VIP. Sponsorship of dinner is equivalent to a Small Business Sponsorship.

Air Fare Sponsor – In Kind with category exclusivity

We will be flying in some organizers and speakers from other parts of the Philippines. This should be equivalent to Bronze Sponsorship

Accommodations Sponsors – In kind with category exclusivity

The organizers need accommodations for eight persons for three days and four nights from September 30 – October 3, 2010. This should be equivalent to a Small Business or Bronze Sponsorship depending on the sponsors’ rates.

The date for the third iteration of one of the most anticipated blogging events in the Philippine blogosphere is set. Mark your calendar, folks. WordCamp Philippines is on October 2, 2010 and we’re announcing it this early — that’s how excited we are!

WordPress developer and Automattic founder Matt Mullenweg will be back to attend the event.

The event is still in the planning stages and the organizing team welcomes your suggestions. Together, we can make WordCamp Philippines 2010 a community effort. So get those creative juices flowing and tell us your ideas in the comments section.
